22 May (10:15, Stort auditorium), Gunasekaran Subramaniam defends his PhD-thesis entitled:

Lifespan extension in a semelparous chordate Oikopleura dioica via developmental growth arrest: Roles of Target of Rapamycin (TOR) signalling and D cyclins

Gunasekaran has been a PhD-fellow at the Sars international centre for marine molecular biology, supervised by Eric Thompson.  His thesis emanates from the Department of Molecular Biology.

The defense and thesis is evaluated by the following committee:
