Three trial lectures (job talks)

Three candidates for the advertised four year temporary position as associate professor (førsteamanuensis, vikariat) at the Department of Molecular Biology will give their trial lectures with given topic on Tuesday August 23rd and Wednesday 24th.

The title of their lectures is:

From Genomes to Function

The lectures should exemplify different levels of detail and complexity, aimed at a bachelor-level audience and include:
–  An introduction to key concepts, accessible to first-year students
–  A more advanced exposition of a selected topic, connecting to the leading edge of research (including your own where fitting)
–  Reflections upon challenges and concepts of teaching molecular biology

The three candidates are:

Åsne Jul-Larsen
Tuesday August 23rd at 09:15-10:00, The Incubator (4th floor)

Lisbeth Charlotte Olsen
Tuesday August 23rd at 13:15-14:00, The N-terminal (5th floor)

Erling Høivik
Wednesday August 24th at 09:15-10:00, The Incubator (4th floor)

 

The lectures are chaired by Head of Chemistry Department, Professor Knut Børve
