Dear potential scholar,
The Amgen Scholars European Programme provides selected undergraduate students with the opportunity to engage in a hands-on research experience at some of Europe’s top educational institutions. Currently, three universities in Europe host the summer research programme, namely LMU Munich, Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, and the University of Cambridge UK. Applications are now available, and I encourage you to go to www.amgenscholars.eu if you’re interested in learning more. Each European host university has its own application process, but the application deadline for all programmes is February 3rd, 2014.
One unique component of the programme is the chance to attend the European Symposium in Cambridge, where undergraduates get the opportunity to meet their fellow Amgen Scholars from across Europe, network with scientists and learn more about scientific careers in academia and industry.
Best regards
—
