Research mobility stipends to visit the Chinese University of Hong Kong

We are pleased to announce that the following research mobility programmes which support PhD students and faculty from WUN members visiting CUHK are now open for application. The visits should take place between 1 August 2016 and 31 July 2017. Please make use of this opportunity to facilitate collaborations under RDF and/or to develop new linkages with CUHK.

For Visiting PhD students

Global Scholarship Programme for Research Excellence: Supports overseas PhD students to undertake short-term research attachments of at least one month at CUHK (under a host supervisor). Free on-campus accommodation will be provided during the visit.

PhD Student Exchange Programme with Bristol and Leeds: Supports Bristol and Leeds PhD students to undertake short-term research attachments of 3-6 months at CUHK (under a host supervisor). Free on-campus accommodation will be provided during the visit.

For Visiting Faculty

Inbound Research Mobility Scheme: Supports overseas academic staff to undertake short-term visits of up to two weeks at CUHK with the aim of developing individual research links. The visiting faculty may participate in academic activities of exploratory and developmental nature. Free hotel/on-campus accommodation will be provided during the visit.

Short-term Faculty Exchange Programme with Bristol, Leeds & Sydney: Supports Bristol, Leeds and Sydney faculty members to undertake a one-week exploratory visit at CUHK. Free hotel/on-campus accommodation will be provided during the visit.

  • Application: Visiting faculty should consult with their home universities for the application procedures.
