I hereby forward the call for nominations for the 2017 Novozymes Prize.

The purpose of the Prize is to raise awareness of basic and applied biotechnology research.

Awardees must have a current position at a public or non-profit research institution in a European country, but awardees can have any nationality.

The Prize will be awarded by a committee established by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, and the prize winner will be selected by the committee based on the nominations received.

The Prize is of DKK 3 million, and it is awarded for a predominantly European contribution.

The deadline for nominating candidates is June 1, 2016.
