PhD-defense, Markus Bause

Markus Bause will Friday 8. October defend his PhD-thesis entitled:

Molecular analysis of the development and function of the apical organ in the sea anemone Nematostella vectensis

Markus has been a PhD-fellow at the Sars international centre for marine molecular biology, and has been supervised by Fabian Rentzsch, with Mark Niere and Mathias Ziegler as co-supervisors.

The defense starts 10.15am, at Stort auditorium, Høyteknologisenteret (Datablokken)

22 September Academia meets business

22 September 11:00 at VilVite down by Marineholmen, Biostruct organizes a lunch seminar where non-academic career development is in focus. The seminar series particularly aims at PhD-students that wonders what will happen after their degree, but everyone is welcome and the content of the seminar should be relevant for anyone under education or on short-term contracts.
